2 games over 500?

We received this email today....

If the Raptors are 38-36, they are not 2 games over .500 as your and your cohorts postulate on the latest podcast. Anyone with even the most rudimentary math skills would know that 38 wins and 36 losses total to 74 games played, of which a .500 record would be 37 wins, making the Raps exactly 1 game over .500.

If, in the future, you find yourselves needing some math help (lets say, counting your change at Tim Horton's), let me know. My 5 year old will be glad to offer you some support.
